Program Overview

iMPACT Access is a 12-month intensive business training program designed to ignite entrepreneurial excellence and long-term economic empowerment, particularly for underrepresented and underserved entrepreneurs. This immersive experience equips entrepreneurs with practical business skills and provides access to the tools necessary to build profitable, sustainable businesses that leave a lasting legacy.​

This 12-month intensive program offers expert-led workshops, live Q&A sessions, and a relevant, hands-on curriculum focused on the real-world needs of entrepreneurs. Participants will receive applicable training from a licensed CPA who is also an entrepreneur, offering firsthand insight into the intersection of tax law and small business ownership. Participants will gain actionable skills and insights in areas such as:

Business Formation & Legal Structure
Select the appropriate entity for tax benefits and legal protection.

Financial Literacy
Understand how to read financial statements and manage business cash flow.

Bookkeeping & Recordkeeping
Learn how to track your business income, expenses, and deductions to stay audit-ready.

Federal & State Tax Compliance
Master the basics of tax filings, estimated payments, and compliance best practices.

Payroll & Contractor Payments
Discover how to set up compliant payroll systems and properly manage 1099 workers.

Operations & Growth Strategy
Implement systems that support business planning, scaling, and sustainability.

Upon successful completion of the iMPACT Access program, participants will:​

 

Gain Clarity on Business Structures & Taxes 

Understand the pros and cons of LLCs, S Corps, sole proprietorships, and nonprofits

Understand state and federal compliance (EIN, business license, etc.)

 Gain Financial Confidence & Literacy

Read and interpret key financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

Understand business bank account best practices and how to separate personal/business funds

 Achieve Tax Compliance & Audit Preparedness

Know which tax forms apply to their business and when to file them

Set up audit-proof systems for organizing receipts, expenses, mileage, and income documentation

 Implement a Scalable Recordkeeping System

Set up and use simple accounting software or spreadsheets to track income and expenses 

Categorize transactions correctly for bookkeeping and tax purposes

Navigate Payroll & Contractor Management

Understand how to hire, classify, and pay employees vs. independent contractors

Learn when and how to issue W-2s and 1099s

Build a Foundation for Generational Wealth

Create a legacy plan that includes succession, business credit, and long-term financial goals

Understand the basics of business insurance, retirement options, and financial protection
